Henry (“Hank”) Detering is the Global Head of Central Marketing Services (CMS), the department charged with supporting all of Lazard’s sales and marketing efforts worldwide. In this role, he provides oversight for the firm’s investment and marketing communications functions, as well as their associated production resources in the United States and Europe. Henry began working in the investment field in 1998. Prior to joining Lazard in 1999, he worked at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Henry has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Biophysical Chemistry from Dartmouth College. Henry holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses, is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), and is on the Board of Directors of the Professional Association of Investment Communication Resources (PAICR).
