Keynote Speakers Kevin Quirk and David Grossman Address Investment Communications Professionals September 13-14
PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ —July 19, 2010— The Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources (PAICR) will hold its 12th Annual Conference September 13-14, 2010 at the Marriott New York Downtown in New York City. PAICR, an association of investment management marketing and communications professionals, will provide tools to help members prepare for changes in the market ahead.
This year’s theme is “The Future of Investment Management—Succeeding in the New Order,” which signifies PAICR’s dedication to providing its members with the knowledge and connections they need to take advantage of emerging opportunities. PAICR members will gather to exchange updates, insights and learn from one another about RFPs, marketing, risk management, client solutions and many more topics. On September 13, Kevin Quirk, founding partner of Casey, Quirk & Associates, who has 20 years of experience in the investment management industry, will discuss recent changes in the institutional market and the repositioning strategies that bring success in his speech, “Shifting from Uncertainty to Opportunity in a New Era.” Also, David Grossman, president and founder of The Grossman Group, will discuss his insights on communication in his speech, “You’re Already Doing It: What to Do When You Can’t NOT Communicate” in the afternoon. Grossman, author of You Can’t NOT Communicate: Proven Solutions That Power the Fortune 100, has received a multitude of awards for his company’s utilization of communications as a strategic business tool.
On September 14, a keynote panel of consultants comprised of Timothy R. Barron, president & CEO of Rogerscasey, Julie Bonafede, president of Wilshire Consulting and Ronald A. Gold, president of Gold Consulting, Inc. will discuss “How to Work More Effectively with Consultants.” Other sessions throughout the two-day conference include discussions on emerging managers, strategic marketing, due diligence and social media.
